Ring Size Guide
So, you’ve found your perfect ring, and now all that’s left is the sizing. Whether an essential design or engagement ring, finding a ring size on can be a tricky and sensitive process, but we’re here to provide easy aid. We created this guide to help but we still highly recommend going to a local jeweller and getting sized in person.
What if the ring is a gift?
If you're planning to buy as gift for someone else, the best way is to ask for her ring size ( you don’t say ) If you're planning a surprise, get help from friends and family. They can ask without raising any eyebrows.
The average ring size available for women ranges from size 4 to size 9. The most commonly purchased women's rings range between size 5 and size 7. Size 6 is the most popular. MYJN range from size 5 to 7 and it’s adjustable for size 5.5 – 8.
Measure Your Ring Size With These Steps:
- Wrap string or paper around the base of your finger.
- Mark the point where the ends meet with a pen.
- Measure the string or paper with a ruler (mm).
- Pick the closest measurement on the ring size chart to find your ring size.
- The ring should fit your finger comfortably: snug enough so it won't fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle with relative ease.
For best results, measure a plain, narrow band
Extra wide band styles tend to fit slightly small. If your borrowed ring has a narrower shaft than the one you wish to purchase, you may wish to order a ring a size larger than the normal size worn.
Temperature is important
Measure your ring size at the end of the day when your fingers are warm. Finger size changes depending on the time of day and the weather, and your fingers are actually smaller in the early morning and in cold weather. Also, keep in mind that fingers on your dominant hand are usually larger
When two sizes seem to fit
If you are between two sizes, always go with the larger one. Don’t use strings. Strings tend to stretch, which can result in a wrong size.
Open Rings That Can't Be Modify
Most of our ring cannot be modify due to their open-ring design. Each of the open ring have its unique design and a mold component.
We will not accept any request of changing an open ring into a closed ring, casting and settlement the gemstone in different way etc. Stay tuned! We will release closed ring made with 14k Solid Gold / Stainless Steel in the future if you would still prefer a closed ring.
