The work left the studio. The rest followed.
They saw something in the work and said so, in their own words, on their own time. We did not know how to respond to that kind of generosity then. We are still learning now. What you see below arrived without a pitch, without a brief, without a plan. It arrived because someone, somewhere, looked a second longer than usual, and decided it was worth sharing.
Some of you wore our pieces in photographs we never expected to see. Some of you wrote about us to people we will never meet. Some of you told one person, just one, and that was enough. It found its way here. It always finds its way here. If our work has ever been part of a moment that mattered to you, something you wore on a day that changed, or kept on through a night that was longer than it should have been, and if you ever feel like sharing that, in whatever way feels natural to you, we will notice. We always do.
