For editors, writers and stylists

We welcome conversations with editors, writers, stylists and creative teams. If you are planning a feature, preparing a shoot or looking more closely at independent design in Malaysia, we would be glad to hear from you.

You do not need to arrive with a finished angle. A piece, a photograph or a question is a good place to begin.

For interviews with MYJN, product information, high-resolution image requests, image credits or styling-loan enquiries, please write to help@myjnofficial.com. Studio visits can be arranged by appointment.

Tell us about your publication or project, the subject you have in mind and your deadline. For styling requests, please include the shoot date and the pieces you are interested in.

 A FEW STARTING POINTS

A collection that began in the kitchen

Familiar forms from the table, reconsidered as jewellery. La Petite Cuisine offers a starting point for a conversation about appetite, humour and the things we notice in everyday life.

The house around the work

A working studio and a place to meet the jewellery, inside a house in Petaling Jaya. How a setting becomes part of the experience of looking, choosing and wearing.

MYJN Galerie, Petaling Jaya.

Why the photograph matters

How light, scale and the space around a piece change the way we see it.
A conversation about the attention given to the image, the object and its presentation.
