Recipe: The House Tomato Orzo

Serves 3 to 4 | 30 minutes | Simple

Some ideas begin at the workbench. La Petite Cuisine began at the table. From the MYJN Galerie kitchen, tomato orzo with spinach, butter and Parmesan. A warm bowl to pass around, and a closer look at the shape that found its way into our jewellery. Make it for someone you like having at your table.

The Form: rounded centre, the gentle taper at either end.

Small, simple, easily overlooked. Until you look again.

We found something charming in the shape of orzo, and wondered what it might become beyond the table.

La Petite Cuisine began with this kind of curiosity,  looking closely at the forms already around the table. For orzo, that curiosity became Seme Orzo Band Ring and Seme Orzo Pendant Necklace, carrying its small familiar shape from the plate into jewellery.

Materials for a Cook’s Rhythm

For the cook who loves to wear jewellery.

Stainless Steel: an easy companion for the kitchen and beyond. Stainless steel jewellery is low-maintenance, durable and resistant to tarnishing, making it a practical choice for those who like to keep their favourite pieces on through everyday rituals.

Sterling Silver: for those who love the softer character of silver. Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time, giving each piece a little more depth and character. When you feel like bringing back its original shine, it can be easily polished and restored with a little care.

From Our Kitchen to You

What began in the Galerie kitchen became a small collection of jewellery - La Petite Cuisine, inspired by the shapes, textures and little details we found in the food we made.

We hope you enjoy this little taste from our house, along with the pieces it inspired. Something to cook, something to wear, and perhaps something to share with someone you like having at your table.

After the final photograph, every last spoonful was shared with the team.
