We Make Jewelry in an Architect's House II: The House Collection

The House As Muse

We have grown quieter, more inward in the way we live and create. To us, being introverted is not an absence, but an intention. It is a space for personal growth, deeper connections, and moments that allow us to focus on what truly matters.

This year, we found ourselves creating jewellery inside an architect-designed home. Originally named House 11th by the architects who designed this residence, the house has since become MYJN Galerie.

More than a place to work, this home became a quiet source of inspiration. It invites us to notice the beauty of moments that often go unseen, from the changing light throughout the day to the subtle textures and sounds that gradually become part of everyday life.

Finding Inspiration In Everyday Moments

The inspiration was found in the smallest details.

The gentle texture of tree bark resting upon the ground. The soft crunch of pebble stones beneath bare feet. Sunlight moving quietly through the leaves. The delicate touch of fallen leaves against the skin. The quiet rhythm of nature surrounding the house.

These simple moments carry a certain warmth, inviting us to linger a little longer and become more attuned to the spaces we inhabit.

On rainy days, the house takes on another character. The sound of rainfall fills the surroundings, creating a sense of stillness and comfort. Sometimes it is experienced through the changing scenery behind the large glass doors, and sometimes through the open-air bathroom where rain becomes part of the landscape.

The air carries the earthy scent of petrichor, bringing a feeling of familiarity and connection that feels deeply rooted within this home.

When these moments come together, they create a rare sense of quietude.

This feeling became the heart of The House Collection.

Translating Moments into Jewelry

Every nuance within the home became a memory, translated into wearable forms.

The Tree Bark Edition Box, from The Husk Collection crafted from hazelnut food waste paper sourced from Italy, reflects the natural tones and textures of tree bark found around the residence. Inspired by the graceful curves of fallen bark and the spiral staircase, the Ruhl Bold Brushed Curved Hoop Earrings and Erté Art Deco Spiral Stud Earrings transform organic movement and architectural geometry into sculptural jewellery pieces.

For the celebration of our 9th anniversary, the collection also revisits memories from our past creations, allowing familiar forms to take on a new expression. The Gaudí Marquise Diamond Vase Pendant Necklace, Erela Trio Interlinked Chain Pendant Necklace, Wright Reversible Ribbed Puffed Hoop Earrings, Fehn Crossed Hammered Band Ring, and Miere Sculptural Duo Contrast Hammered Ear Cuffs carry forward elements from previous designs, including trio interwoven rings, hammered textures, marquise diamond silhouettes, and reversible forms. Each piece is reimagined through a new perspective, continuing the stories and details that have shaped our journey.

As lovers of aged materials and the warmth they develop over time, the brass details throughout the house became another source of inspiration. This led to the creation of the Jeanneret Bold Sculptural Cigar Band Ring and the Ruhl Bold Brushed Curved Hoop Earrings, pieces designed to reveal a changing character as time passes. With every wear, the natural brass tone gradually emerges, creating a unique silhouette shaped by time and personal memories.

Designed For Everyday Living

For this season, we continue to explore twisted forms, sculptural curves, and organic structures. Beyond simple everyday essentials, these minimalist jewellery pieces are created for those who appreciate thoughtful design. Each piece brings character to familiar outfits while remaining effortless enough to become part of daily life.

The House Collection is our exploration of architecture, sculpture, nature, memory, and personal expression. Each design carries a story shaped by its surroundings, created exclusively for the opening of MYJN Galerie and in celebration of our 9th anniversary.

A Quite Story To Carry Foward

We hope The House Collection brings a sense of comfort, closeness, and belonging.

These contemporary jewellery pieces are made to be discovered and carried in your own way, holding a private feeling, a meaningful connection, and an ongoing story that belongs only to you.
