Every material here was chosen for how it lives against skin, how it responds to the body over time, and what it feels like in the hand the moment before it is put on. Some of these materials will change with you. Silver will learn your chemistry. Vermeil will soften where your fingers reach for it most. Pearl carries the patience of the water it formed in. None of this is damage. It is the material becoming yours.
Silver
Silver is the foundation of this house. Sterling silver for the forms that need structure and clarity. Fine silver for the Atelier line, where the metal is softer, purer, and sits closer to the skin with nothing between.
Some pieces carry a thin layer of rhodium for a cooler, brighter surface. Others are left bare — because uncoated silver has a warmth and a quietness that nothing else replicates.
Gold Vermeil
Gold vermeil is real gold over solid silver. The layer is thick — generous enough to hold its colour through years of daily wear, honest enough to tell you what it is. Not solid gold. Gold that has been earned by the silver beneath it.
No mystery metals. No green skin. No fast fading. The silver gives the piece its weight. The gold gives it light. Over time the two settle into each other the way only real materials can.

MYJN stainless steel jewellery is made for real life — strong, sleek, and built to last. Crafted from 316L or 304L steel, these pieces resist rust, tarnish, and everyday wear.
Low-maintenance, and won’t fade or oxidize over time.

Brass
Brass is where the forms go when they need to feel bolder in the hand. Heavier. Warmer in tone.
More willing to carry sculptural volume without being precious about it.
Some designs ask for a material that meets you with presence rather than delicacy. Brass is that material.

Crystal / Shell Pearls
Crystal pearls and shell pearls are refined, man-made alternatives to natural pearls — designed for beauty, consistency, and durability.
Crystal pearls are crafted by coating a crystal core with layers of pearl-like finish, giving them a smooth, luminous surface and ideal roundness. They offer the elegance of real pearls with added resistance to wear and fading.
Shell pearls are made from the inner lining of oyster shells (nacre), ground and shaped, then coated to achieve a natural pearl-like glow. At MYJN, we use only high-grade crystal and shell pearls with a flawless finish, chosen for their elegant sheen and long-lasting quality — perfect for modern heirlooms.
We source from partners we have worked with long enough to trust with our name. We cannot trace every step between the earth and your hands. What we can do is stay small enough that nothing enters this studio without being seen, held, and chosen by someone who will answer for it.
