begins with what the world leaves behind, the soft shells and subtle fibres that remain after harvest. We turn these natural remnants into calm, architectural boxes with warm matte surfaces and grounded, nature-led tones. Each piece is made to be kept, not discarded, a quiet reminder that even the overlooked can become something beautiful.


THE ESPRESSO EDITION BOX

begins after the roast, at the moment most people never see.

When coffee beans are roasted, a thin membrane called the silverskin separates from the bean in the heat. It has been through the most transformative part of the whole process and gets none of the credit. It does not end up in the cup. Most of it is discarded. The silverskin is collected, micronised, and blended into paper pulp — replacing up to 15% of virgin tree cellulose. The deep near-black brown you are looking at is not chosen from a colour sheet. It is the material itself, pressed flat.

We made this box for the everyday ritual, not the occasion. For the piece you reach for every morning before you are fully awake. For the jewellery that has stopped being a decision and become part of how you move through the world.

We kept the form as considered as the material: a low architectural drawer, the MYJN wordmark running long and quiet across the lid, no hardware, no ornament, just proportion and a single clean seam. The drawer opens with measured resistance — slow enough to feel deliberate, smooth enough that it becomes the first small ritual of the day.

Box and Paper Details

A MYJN® original. Designed exclusively by MYJN studio.

- Eco packaging box material: made using process residues from organic product, using by-products from coffee roasting.

- Coffee silverskin is recovered from the roasting process, then dried and micronised into a fine raw material. The coffee residue substitutes up to 15% of virgin tree cellulose in the paper sheet.

- Handcrafted by our selected production team into the MYJN drawer box structure.

- FSC™ certified paper, produced with EKOenergy, GMO free, contains 40% post-consumer recycled waste.

- The carbon footprint is reduced by 20% compared to standard paper production by using by-products and 100% green energy.

** The deep near-black brown tone, fine grain, and visible flecks are produced by the coffee silverskin within the paper itself — not a printed finish or applied texture.


Pouches

- Our pouch is made from the highest grade of suede-alike microfiber, soft to the touch, structured enough to hold its shape, and designed to protect. Inside, two separate pockets keep each piece from touching, preventing scratches and minimizing tarnish over time.

- All items are packaged in our signature pouch. The pouch features two separate compartments, so at times two pieces may be placed in one pouch. Each compartment is designed to prevent scratching or contact between pieces.

- Each pouch carries a woven MYJN label, specially sewn with clean, thick double-stitch lines on both sides.

- For sustainable purposes, we will fit up to 3 - 4 purchased items in a jewelry box.
