There is a way of wearing jewellery where you stop thinking about it entirely. You shower in it. You sleep in it. You wear it through a run, a flight, a long day that turns into a longer night. You forget it's on your wrist and find it there three weeks later, exactly as it was. That is what this collection was made for.
We work in 316L stainless steel — the same grade trusted inside surgical instruments and marine engineering. It was not chosen because it costs less. It was chosen because we tested it against everything this climate does to metal — the heat, the humidity, the salt air, the particular chemistry of skin near the equator — and it held. The colour is applied through PVD ion bonding, a process that fuses pigment to the steel at a molecular level. It does not chip. It does not peel. It does not layer on and wear off the way conventional plating does. It becomes part of the surface.
Over 30,000 pieces in steel have left this studio across eight years. Through daily showers, tropical humidity, saltwater, chlorine, and everything a life in this region puts metal through. 97% held their colour without intervention. We know because we asked. And because the few that came back to the Workshop told us where the limits were, so we could move past them.
Shower in it. Sleep in it. Swim in it. Run in it. Forget about it entirely and find it unchanged. After saltwater or chlorine, rinse with fresh water and dry with a soft cloth. After everything else, do nothing. The steel does not ask to be looked after. It stays the way you left it.

This is the collection designed for the hours nobody photographs. The 6 a.m. gym. The overnight flight. The beach weekend where the last thing you want to think about is what's on your wrist. The pieces carry the same forms as the rest of the house — dome, sphere, cuff, contour — shaped with the same eye, held to the same standard. The difference is not in the design. The difference is that this material was built to disappear into your day and still be there at the end of it.
