Most people say the holidays begin with a date on the calendar. For us, it starts when the first Olive Box is placed on the packing table. The studio is quiet, the light is soft, and an empty, olive-green box is waiting for something important to go inside. That’s the moment Holiday Wonder begins at MYJN.

For the season it becomes The Bell Olive Gift Box: soft olive on the outside, wrapped in simple threads and finished with a small silver bell at the centre of the bow. When you lift the lid or set two boxes side by side, the bell gives a gentle ring. It’s not loud or showy. It’s the kind of sound you hear in a quiet room, and it belongs just to the people who are there.
Inside is our Holiday Wonder collection. These pieces were designed slowly over months, not rushed for a single day on the calendar. There are pendants that gather tiny spheres into compact, berry-like clusters; polished hoops that sit close to the ear; small, sculptural forms that feel like they grew naturally into their shape. We didn’t design “holiday jewellery.” We designed pieces that feel like you: the ones you reach for on busy mornings, late dinners, and all the small, in-between moments that actually make a season.
Alongside them lives the “Rouka” Talisman. We imagine it as a companion for thresholds and turning points: the hallway before you step out, the car before you go upstairs, the space between one year and the next. It’s a small, weighty charm you can slip into a pocket, keep on your desk, or hang on a keyring. For selected holiday orders, Rouka waits quietly inside the Olive Box as an unexpected extra – a little reminder to notice where you are and where you’re going.
From our side of the table, Holiday Wonder is built on people more than products. We recognise names that return every year. We see new names sharing the same address as old ones. We read the notes you write to each other, and the ones you write to yourself. We stack Olive Boxes in small towers, tie each bow by hand and listen to the bells ring, one by one, as they leave the studio. It’s work, but it never feels like just work.
