THE STUDIO

Join our team

We are looking for people who already care. Not people we have to convince to take the work seriously.
MYJN is a small studio. That means the work is close, the decisions matter, and the people in the room are the brand. If you understand what we are building and want to be part of how it grows, read on.

Open Positions

Creative Coordinator

This role is for someone who already has a point of view.
You will work directly with our Creative Director — close enough to understand the thinking behind every decision, trusted enough to push back when something is not right. You will help bring campaigns to life across photography, video, and digital. You will write, compose, and produce. But more than any of that, you will be responsible for whether the work feels true to the brand or merely correct.

What we are looking for is not a list of software skills. It is the person who, when they look at a frame, immediately knows what is wrong with it and why. Who reads back their own writing and hears the places where it sounds like a brand rather than a person. Who cares about the gap between what something is and what it could be.

If you have a portfolio, bring it. If you do not yet have one, bring the references that shaped your taste and tell us why.

Compensation starts between RM3,000 and RM6,000 per month, depending on experience, skill, and what you bring. We review growth regularly and good work is always recognised.

E-Commerce Coordinator

This role is about presence and care in equal measure.

You will prepare and pack online orders with attention, assist walk-in customers at the studio, support light jewellery servicing, and handle customer messages with the kind of clarity and warmth that makes a person feel genuinely looked after. You will be part of the daily fulfilment and stock process, and a consistent face of the brand for everyone who steps through the door or sends a message.

We are not looking for experience first. We are looking for someone who is kind without being performative, attentive without being anxious, and honest about what they do not yet know. Weekend availability is welcome and comes with additional pay. Sales incentives are available for in-store support.

Compensation starts between RM2,500 and RM5,000 per month, depending on experience and contribution. Reliability and attitude carry significant weight here.

Internships

Whether you are joining through a school programme or on your own initiative, this is a place where you will see how a brand is actually built, from the inside.

You will work alongside the team on creative projects, campaigns, photography, and daily studio operations. Not as an observer. As a contributor. We will show you how the decisions get made and why, and we expect you to start forming opinions of your own.

Fresh graduates are welcome. So is anyone without formal experience who simply loves the brand, understands our tone, and sees beauty the way we do. That combination has been worth more to us than a well-formatted CV.

Compensation starts from RM1,000 per month, with additional incentives based on contribution and performance. Interns who grow into the work may be offered extended or full roles after the programme.

The work is real here.

You will not be asked to fill a seat. You will be asked to contribute, think, and care about the outcome. We move with pace and intention — there is no one waiting to approve every small decision, because we hire people whose judgment we trust. In return, your work will be seen, your ideas will be heard, and the things you make will reach real people.

We hire for taste.

Credentials matter less to us than how you see. If you understand composition, feel when something is off, read a room, or write the way a person thinks rather than a template suggests — you are already speaking our language. Most of what we look for cannot be taught in the time we have. So we look for the part that cannot be faked: genuine attention to the work.

Small studio, real growth.

Because we are small, there is nowhere to disappear. Your work is visible, your growth is noticed, and the people you learn from are the people doing the work — not a layer of management between you and the craft. We are building something with intention and we want the team around us to grow with it.

We do not set numbers before seeing your work. Bring your experience, your portfolio, and what you believe your time is worth. We will talk it through honestly.

Five days a week. Flexible hours. No overtime culture. You will have room to grow and full access to our in-house creative spaces. You will learn from the people doing the work, not about the work from a distance.

We offer incentives, sales commission, attendance bonus, professional development, and employee discounts. Casual dress. The things we care most about are trust, respect, and the standard of the work.
