At MYJN, jewellery is personal. Every piece carries hours of quiet work, from the first sketch to the final polish, most of it by hand and much of it made to order.

If you are here to return something, we understand. We are still grateful you chose us.

If your piece arrives faulty

If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, we replace it immediately. No repairs, no delays.

Send us clear photos of the item within 72 hours of delivery. Our team will review the images alongside our QC records.

If a genuine defect is confirmed, we replace the piece at no cost and cover all return and replacement shipping.

How to return or exchange

Email us at help@myjnofficial.com within 14 days of delivery. We will respond with your return instructions and options.

 

What to include in your email

  • Your order number or receipt

  • The item you would like to return or exchange

  • Whether you prefer a refund, store credit, or exchange

 

How to pack your return

  • Use the original MYJN box, pouch, and all accompanying materials

  • Place everything securely in outer packaging

  • Ship using a trackable courier of your choice

 

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your chosen option.

Please allow 7 to 10 business days for processing after we receive your parcel.

 


 

Return conditions

To be eligible, your item must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition, with a valid order number or receipt, and returned within 14 days of delivery.

 

Original packaging

Please return all original packaging: jewellery box, suede pouch, and any materials that came with your parcel.

If packaging is missing or damaged, a RM39 replacement fee will be deducted from your refund. This helps us maintain our packaging standards.

 

Complimentary gifts

If your order included a complimentary item (such as a Tassel Comb or other gift), it must be returned in its original, unused condition.

If a complimentary item is not returned or is damaged, its retail value will be deducted from the refund.

 

Item condition

Jewellery must be unworn, unaltered, and in original condition. Items showing signs of wear, polishing, or damage are not eligible for return.

 


 

What is not eligible for return

To preserve the integrity, safety, and uniqueness of each piece, the following are final sale:

 

Earrings

All earrings, including hoops, studs, huggies, and ear clips, are final sale for hygiene reasons.

The area where a stud post meets the backing is a moving joint and may show lighter coating from friction. This is expected and does not affect function or durability. Hoop earrings have hinge points where plating is intentionally thinner.

If visible fading at joints is a concern, sterling silver or stainless steel may be a better choice for you.

 

Customised or engraved items

These pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

Gift cards

Refunds are not available for gift cards. Exchanges are welcome.

 

Altered or modified jewellery

This includes added pendants, resizing, or any post-purchase changes.

 

Objects Collection

All items from the Objects Collection are final sale.

 

Items damaged by misuse or mishandling

This includes forceful bending, twisting, dropping, or wear beyond normal care.

 

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined or subject to deductions.

 


 

Discounted items

To keep our pricing fair and sustainable, discounted items are not eligible for refunds to the original payment method.

If you purchased during a special event, you are still welcome to return or exchange your piece as long as it meets our standard return conditions.

We offer full store credit or a flexible exchange, so you can take your time and find something that truly feels right.

 


 

Exchanges

Looking to switch size, style, or material?

If your new item is in stock, we will ship it as soon as we receive your return.

You can also opt for store credit and take your time deciding.

If the exchange item is of higher value, we will share a secure top-up link. Exchanges follow the same 14-day eligibility window.

 


 

Gift returns

If you have received MYJN as a gift and it is not quite right, we will help you find something that is.

Gifts may be exchanged or converted into store credit if they meet our standard return conditions. To protect the original purchaser, gifts are not eligible for monetary refunds. All refunds, when applicable, are processed only to the original payment method.

 

What you will need

  • The order number or receipt (usually available from the gift-giver)

  • The item must be unworn, unused, and in original condition

  • The request must be made within 14 days of delivery

 

Our team handles gift returns with complete discretion. The sender will not be notified unless absolutely necessary.

 


 

International returns

We accept international returns and exchanges under the same 14-day policy.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs, and duties.

To avoid unnecessary charges or delays, please label your parcel as: "Returned Merchandise. No Commercial Value."

 


 

Return shipping

Faulty items, wrong items, or approved warranty cases

We cover the cost of reshipping the replacement or corrected piece back to you. You remain responsible for sending the original item to us. Only standard insured courier rates are eligible for reimbursement. Premium or express options (such as same-day delivery) are considered a personal preference and are not reimbursable.

For customers in Malaysia and Singapore, we may be able to arrange a courier pickup, subject to availability and area coverage.

 

All other returns or exchanges

Shipping both ways is covered by you. You may choose any courier at your convenience.

We recommend always using a trackable courier for returns.

 


 

A note on craft and expectation

Every MYJN piece is crafted exactly as described: genuine materials, true-to-life photography, and careful hand finishing. Every design passes multiple quality checks before leaving our studio.

Jewellery is deeply personal. Some prefer weight and shine. Others seek quiet texture and restraint. That is what makes each piece individual.

Feelings such as "quality not as expected" or "looks different in person" are not considered defects and do not qualify for refund exceptions or restocking fee waivers. Our policy exists to protect honesty in craft and fairness for everyone who chooses us.

If you ever feel unsure about a piece, contact us before returning it. We are happy to talk through your concern and guide you toward the best solution, whether that is care advice, an exchange, or a different material that suits you better.

 


 

Common questions

 

How long does a refund take?

Store credit is issued within 1 to 2 working days after your return is approved. Refunds to your original payment method take 5 to 10 business days after processing, depending on your bank or payment gateway.

 

What if my return parcel gets lost?

We are not liable for lost return parcels. But if something goes wrong, reach out. We will do our best to help.

 

Can I return or exchange a gift?

Gifts can be exchanged or converted to store credit if return conditions are met. Monetary refunds are not available for gifts. All refunds go back to the original payment method only.
