The Cacao Edition Box

This season, every permanent collection order includes one ‘Cacao’ Edition box, added automatically with our compliments. Atelier pieces have a presentation of their own: a black fabric and suede pouch, finished with two cotton-linen tassels. Sized to accommodate their larger forms, the pouch takes the place of our complimentary gift box.

Cacao, the first edition of our Husk Collection, returns this season in a limited quantity.

There is a point when a box stops belonging to the gift and begins to belong to you. It finds a place beside the bed. The earrings you reach for each morning go inside, then a folded note, or something small you have kept for reasons of your own. We designed Cacao with that life in mind.

THE CACAO EDITION

Finely milled cocoa-bean husks are blended into the paper, leaving small brown and black flecks across its matte surface. These are traces of the skin that once protected the bean, given another use in the material that surrounds your jewellery.

The form is a low drawer, with the MYJN wordmark pressed into the lid. A change in the light brings the impression into view. The paper gives it texture; the things you put inside gradually make it yours.

THE HUSK COLLECTION

Each Husk edition begins with the shells, skins or fibres left after food crops are processed. These remnants become part of the paper we choose for our boxes. The drawer form remains familiar; each paper brings a different character.

BOX & PAPER

A MYJN original, designed by MYJN studio.

• Handcrafted by our selected production team into the MYJN drawer-box structure.

• Paper incorporating finely milled cocoa-bean husks.

• The paper contains 40% post-consumer recycled material.

• FSC™-certified paper, produced using renewable energy.

• The natural flecks are part of the paper itself. Their distribution varies from box to box.
  
  

JEWELLERY PACKAGING

Jewellery orders are packed in our signature suede-like microfibre pouches, finished with a woven MYJN label and double stitching. Two separate compartments help keep pieces apart and reduce rubbing. Two pieces may share a pouch, with one in each compartment.

Where size allows, three or four purchased pieces may be packed together in one jewellery box.

GIFTING NOTES

A seasonal MYJN gift card accompanies jewellery orders. The card is left blank unless you request a message in the order remarks. Card designs and additional wrapping may vary with the season.
